Description

The Remote Support Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality technical assistance to customers via email, phone, WhatsApp, and ticketing systems. This role ensures accurate CRO/RMA processing, adherence to SLA timelines, consistent documentation, and clear communication with customers, sales, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability
  • High attention to detail, especially with documentation
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet SLA deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple support requests simultaneously
  • Professionalism, reliability, and accountability
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date CRO notes

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
  • Experience needed in technical support, helpdesk, or remote IT assistance roles
  • Experience with CRM/ticketing systems (Fincon advantageous)
  • Understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, and consumer electronics
  • Familiarity with Windows, Android/IOS and Smart home products
  • Experience with warranty verification and fault-finding processes
